About the role

We are always looking for a driven, strategically minded professional with strong analytical skills and broad knowledge of finance and management, to join our team and support the development of investment projects and strategic advisory work.

The right candidate will bring skills in preparing, monitoring and evaluating projects across different sectors, as well as in putting together applications for funding and tax incentives.

Responsibilities

• Develop investment and growth projects across different areas and sectors, working closely with the Executive Board and the ICT Specialist
• Prepare applications for investment funding programmes and tax incentives
• Monitor the physical and financial delivery of ongoing investment projects
• Deliver financial and strategic advisory work for clients and partners
• Produce business plans and feasibility studies
• Produce sector assessments grounded in economic and financial data
• Carry out physical and financial checks and audits to assess project delivery
• Run specific management studies and plans focused on efficiency, innovation and sustainability

Profile

• Proven ability in economic and financial analysis and in producing strategic studies
• Command of management and planning software (advanced Excel, project management tools and similar)
• Clear communicator, critical thinker, organised and results-oriented
• Able to work both in a multidisciplinary team and independently
• Takes initiative and ownership
• Fluent in English and Portuguese

• Category B driving licence
• Be a first-time jobseeker, economically inactive (no Portuguese social security records in the last 6 months) or unemployed and registered with the IEFP, the Portuguese employment service
